Panzhihua University is the only comprehensive undergraduate University distributed by the Ministry of Education in southwest Sichuan Province and Northwest Yunnan Province.
It is one of the first batch of 100 national innovation and entrepreneurship universities in China. It is located in China-Panzhihua City, which is also named as famous Vanadium Titanium City, Sunshine and Flower City, Holy Land of Health Care, the only city named after a flower(kapok). Conditions of the University The university covers a total area of 1450 mu, with 21 teaching units, 1 research unit and 1 affiliated hospital.
There are 923 full-time teachers with senior professional and technical positions, among which, the senior ones account for nearly 41% (excluding the doctors in the affiliated hospital), and teachers with doctor’s or master’s degrees account for 83%.
There are 63 undergraduate programs including: Science, Engineering, Humanities, Law, Economics, Management, Medical, Art and Agriculture. And two postgraduate programs including Materials Engineering and Chemistry, Accounting.
SCIENTIFIC REASERACH :
The university attaches great importance to scientific research and gets fruitful achievements. It is intellectual property cultivation institution, and one of the first pilot universities in Sichuan province to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship of the scientific and technological personnel. There is 1 national Vanadium and titanium testing key laboratory, 1 national Panzhihua Vanadium and titanium incubator, 32 provincial key laboratories and 16 municipal scientific research platforms. In the past five years, it has undertaken 1,590 scientific research projects, including 11 national projects and 261 provincial projects, and transformed 52 scientific and technological achievements, creating social benefits of 1.27 billion yuan. 1425 patents were authorized, including 164 invention patents. 4311 high-level papers has been published, including 479 SCI. CSSCI and El papers. In 2022, the university has approved two projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation and one funded by the Social Science Foundation, and won two awards for Scientific and Technological Progress of Sichuan Province, one grand prize and two second prizes of Sichuan Teaching Achievement Award.

Note: Applicants should provide academic transcripts from high school and any higher education institutions they have attended and average scores should be higher than 60%. Student must be under the age of 25 for Bachelor Degree.
