Qingdao University was founded in 1909. Qingdao University is situated in the eastern seaside city of Qingdao, China, between the coast of the Yellow Sea and Mount Fushan. Surrounded by a beautiful setting where the rich local culture is blended with the spirit of the times. The university has 34 colleges and 100 undergraduate majors, covering 11 major disciplines including literature, art, history, philosophy, science, engineering, medicine, economics, management, law and education.

There are 9 post-doctoral mobile stations; There are 13 first-level doctoral programs (covering 78 second-level disciplines) and 2 professional doctoral programs (covering 18 professional fields); 37 first-level master’s degree programs, 6 second-level master’s degree programs (covering 192 second-level disciplines), and 23 professional master’s degree programs (covering 81 professional fields). Qingdao University is an authorized Education Center of Chinese Language and Culture, HSK Test Center and DaF Test Center. Currently the enrollment of our university totals over 46,000 students, of whom over 9,600 are postgraduates and over 1,600 are international students.

MBBS Scholarship in Qingdao University:

Qingdao University is offering MBBS First year Full Tuition free Scholarship to Excellent students having more than 85% marks overall in HSSC (Grade 12). University can take short interview for this and the final decision will be made by the Dean of Medical school of Qingdao university. Actual tuition fee of Clinical Medicine (MBBS) is 30,000 RMB/Year and Scholarship qualified students will get off the tuition fee of first year.

If the student have more than 80% of Marks in HSSC (Pre-Medical), The student can get 20,000 RMB Scholarship from First year tuition fee of 30,000 RMB.

MBBS in English Medium (MOE Listed):

The Qingdao University Medical College is recognized by the World Health Organization and is listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools. Qingdao University is also in the name list of the first universities authorized by the Education Ministry of China to enroll international students to study clinical medicine (MBBS taught in English).

Qingdao University was approved by the ministry of education of the People’s Republic of China to admit international students in 1987. Qingdao University was approved as HSK test center by Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) in 1997, and was approved as Host Institute for Confucius Institute Scholarship, Chinese Government Scholarship and Shandong Government Scholarship. QU was authorized as The Demonstration Education Base of Study in China by MOE in 2014 and was authorized as one of 27 universities which is in conformity with the International students Education standard in China.

In 2006, Qingdao University started a 6-year MBBS program in English (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Science). Now we have hundreds of international students from India, Thailand, Nepal and many more participating in this program.

Qingdao University MBBS Fee Structure 2021-2022:

MBBS English Medium (Self finance):

MBBS Course Duration = 06 years (5 years Medical study+1 year Clinical internship)
Degree Awarding = Clinical Medicine MBBS

 

Note: Applicants should provide academic transcripts from high school and any higher education institutions they have attended and average scores should be higher than 60%. Student must be under the age of 25 for Bachelor Degree.

Note: Because of COVID-19 Pandemic, We haven’t added hostel fee, Residence permit, Medical checkup charges in First year fee package. Students will pay all these charges on arrival (if needed) according to actual price depending upon duration & cost.

Special Notes:

  1. Student will pay the Fee in Chinese Yuan on arrival otherwise hostel will not allot to the student.
  2. Food Expenses, Air Ticket & Electricity Charges are not included in the fee package.
  3. Student will pay the Residence Permit, Insurance fee by themselves according to actual cost.
  4. Pakistani Student will follow the rules and Regulations of PMC & Qingdao Medical College.
  5. Indian Students will follow the rules and regulations of Indian Medical Council (MCI).
